Why does it hurt so bad? I look around and wonder why I cannot point out the basis for the
continuous struggle and degradation that have befallen the African and African American folks. Please wait a minute, did I mention that I am ignorant of these reasons? Maybe not really.
I have come to realize that all the issues that bedevil the African and African American are stereotype.
When can we really tell ourselves that, "Yes we can",GO HERE. I wished I could turn back the hands of time and rewrite the wrongs. Maybe Latasha Harlins (May her soul rest in peace) would have marked her 34th birthday just like I did in April.
I am not here to apportion blame neither am I advocating for a special course for the Africans and African Americans.
I am calling for gainful and result oriented partnership that would re -engineer and reposition us in the new dispensation socially, culturally, intellectually,morally and mentally.
We are indeed a breed of people that have been conditioned to function and perform excellently well to the admiration of others, We are indeed a people with immense potentials, dogged, result - oriented with an avid passion for excellence.
These are noble qualities to behold but regrettably we have not been able to harness the potentials involved therein.GO HERE
We have the face of determination, strong willed and self propelled. Ironically, could we be said to be people that command recognition and respect, are we trailing behind in every other aspect of life? GO HERE
So many questions and so many issues to address. We have a dream and that dream has to materialize now. We must pride in partnership for the collective good of our people. That time is now GO HERE. Welcoming you all to a forum that would endear us to our common heritage even in the diaspora. GO HERE
